Job seekers in Murfreesboro, Tennessee should be looking forward to a job fair on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the Murfreesboro Career Center. The Nissan Vehicle Assembly and Electric Vehicle Battery Plant in Smyrna, Tennessee is looking to hire 1000 workers for full-time positions at their facility. The event which is being hosted by Yates Services will be from 9am to 2pm for individuals available for various shifts around the clock including rotating shifts, nights, weekends, off shift, etc.
The Nissan plant will be recruiting workers to fill positions in production, material handling, maintenance, tool and die maker, and warehouse positions. The starting wage for warehouse positions begins at $12/hr while production positions start at $15.25/hr. Employees working off shift jobs can expect an increase to $15.25/hr after July 23, 2012.
Employees of Nissan can expect to receive good company benefits. They will receive paid holidays, health insurance, dental, vision, 401k, and more.
