San Antonio’s Northside and Northeast Independent School Districts are looking to hire approximately 650 new teachers in preparation for the upcoming 2012-13 school year.  To start the new school year off the districts will need 250 new teachers.  The majority of the new positions are due to a shortage of teachers because of teacher resignations and retirements.  There is also a need for teachers for two new elementary schools that will be opening in August.
