The Florida Highway Patrol is looking to hire 132 new patrol officers to join their ranks.  They have 2 new classes that are upcoming and are interested in adding to those classes.  Candidates who are interested in joining the police force should visit www.beatrooper.com to learn more about the requirements of attending a Police Academy class.  Below are some of the requirements for attendees.

Requirements For Being A Florida State Trooper

•    At least 19 years old
•    US Citizen
•    High School Diploma or GED
•    Valid Drivers License
•    Willing to serve on police force anywhere in Florida
•    Weight must be in proportion to height
•    Preference given to those with an Associate’s degree, 2 years military service and honorable discharge, Florida certified law enforcement officer with 1 year experience

Salary Info

•    Starting salary $33,977.04 annually
•    Academy Recruit Salary $2,514.88 monthly
