Veterans and transitioning military personnel as well as their family members can take part in the second VetJobs Virtual Career Fair which is from May 1 to 15th. Candidates can register for the event and get started searching for jobs at www.workplacediversity.com/veteransconnect. Individuals will have the opportunity to post their resumes and throughout the next 15 days have an opportunity to view new job postings that will be listed on a daily basis. Employers and organizations will be actively involved in the career fair as they will be highlighting many of their job opportunities on the site.
It is a good idea for each candidate to post their resume as employers are allowed to download those resumes. Please be sure your resume is in good standing and is a good representation of your job skills and abilities.
There is a directory of employers that will be participating in the job fair listed on the website. Each employer or organization has their own profile which lists their company details, current job openings, contact information, and benefit details. This is a great resource for candidates as they can benefit from this data.
